Terrence Howard may have gotten dumped by the Iron Man franchise and replaced by his Crash co-star Don Cheadle, but Howard is getting the last thespian laugh: While Don "War Machine" Cheadle presumably gets to look forward to punching a bunch of shit in Iron Man 3, Howard gets to play motherfucking Nelson Mandela. (Should we make a "Peace Machine" joke? No, let's not.) According to Hollywood Reporter, Howard has been cast as the iconic South African leader in Winnie, a biopic about Mandela's former wife, who will be played by Jennifer Hudson. According to an exclusive report from Deadline.com, Wu-Tang mastermind RZA is said to be close to finalizing a deal with Universal that will allow him to finally realize all his kung-fu dreams. Eli Roth says he helped RZA write the screenplay for and will co-produce The Man With Iron Fists, the tale of a blacksmith in feudal China who provides weapons to the inhabitants of a village so they can defend themselves—a story Roth characterizes as combining "kung fu with a Spaghetti Western mindset and a hip-hop influence." I saw this awesome video on Kotaku today and I had to share it here ,as well. It's called The King of Famicom and it's theoretical "fighting game" that mashes Nintendo, Capcom, Irem, Sunsoft, Hudson, Taito, Namco, Konami and Sega together in one glorious title. Just imagine a Street Fighter version of Super Mario Bros. Crossover.

Most of the characters referenced should be recognizable by western audiences, besides the lot from Sunsoft.
